In the beginning, Barangay Poblacion had only three parts. The town proper in the middle where the center of trade and industrial works takes place. The second was Palyukan which derived from various pottery shop in the area selling loam made pots, jars, and other accessories. The third is Riverside locally called as tabing ilog due to its proximity to the banks of Lobo River.
Barangay Poblacion is divided into six Puroks (Purok 1-6) and has ten streets, these are: Babao Avenue, Mabini Street, Malvar Street, Basa Street, Lopez Jaena Street, M.H. Del Pilar Street, Burgos Street, JM Luna Street and J.P. Rizal Street.
Barangay Poblacion is the center of all public works and business establishments such as Municipal Hall, Amusement Park, Public Market, groceries stores, catholic church, Public and private schools, and various offices offering quality service to the people.
